All Souls Trilogy: "The Book of Life" Review. Spoiler Alert!

This, I do have to say has being a great reading experience. I love this author and with no doubt will read anything else she release's. I would even go as far as to say I would buy it. This, for me, was one of those books that I want to go back to in a while and make sure that I re-read it, because I am sure that in the excitement of the moment I might have miss some minimal details that I do not want to leave in the unknown.
I am warning you now, if you do not want to know everything from beginning to end of this book, stop reading now, I am about to resume the book in this review, and some of it is very detailed.

So far if you have read the first two books you know about Matthew's blood rage, and all of the residual strain that this has put into his and Diana's relationship.
You also know about the Black Ship of Mathew's family, Benjamin, and his sickening role in the books, and yes, it does get worst. This book is all about finding, or at least I believe it is.
They have to find the book of life, Benjamin, and a way to make the Congregation do what they want, not to mention break the Covenant (this is sort of a moot point since they are already together) and be able to unite all three species for a common goal.
"The Book of Life" is also a bit more specific about the characters, some will come back and make you very happy, and some will make you very mad. Either way, there is enough balance between both feelings  that make this reader believe it a Good if not a Great Book.

Yes, sometimes you will like to yell at Diana and tell her that fixating in the little things is not going to help, and somethings you will have the biggest grin all over your face and the frase: "Bad Ass" wont be remotely out of line.

I feel in love with Gallowglass and his easy going way; Matthew's knight in shiny armor attitude also captivates you. Chris brotherly affection and easy going way as well as his matter of fact demeanor will make you crack up all trough out the book, Miriam's no no nonsense way of life will be admired; Yesabeu will also be looked up too, just like I would any women who plays the part of the not so smart girl, but knows how to manipulate man in the best possible way (I think i should learn a bit from her :) and of course, then there is Philipe, I missed him almost as much as I admired him, and this will only grow. The vampire was almost Magical and had the power of premonition for all he did himself after being in the past with them, he was great at calculating his enemies and a great strategy master. Diana and Matthew's lives where a bit easier because of him...

Every character is unique, the book is very diverse and there is a lot that we didn't know that is now explained. On the other hand I also felt like there was a lot that was not explained.

By my count, Great in all accounts, I am just sorry is over, and I hope all of you will enjoy it just as much, if not more than me.

Ask away if you want to know any more specifics! Don't be shy! :)

Happy Reading,
Xox

"The Book of Life", Best Bargain Buys

Hello there Supernatural Readers:

It has become some of a habit now to do a Bets Bargain comment also on the book in question. I like to be able to lead readers to where I have found the best prices online or in stores. As of right now I can say that the best is to have a Library Card. It is very good to be able to check books out, be it one of serveral ones and read at your leisure, renew if the set time was not enough, because we all know that life happends and not everything goes as planned; and then return it at a total cost of 0.00!

Now if you want to have the book for yourself, because you loved it, or simply because you just dont want to do the trip to the library and prefere to buy it to your kindle, then the link below will take you to the best deal in the Kindle Department on Amazon; unfortunatly this Trilogy is not included in the Kindle Unlimited promotion that they have going right now, (its a 30 day free trial and you will not get charged if you change it in the settings, I recomend to put an alarm so you remember if you do not want to pay for it.) and I find it very good for a two day romance novel read that is sexy and with a strong male character...
That way you dont have to pay extra for those.

Anyways... Here is the link, and it also included the best new/used offers online or on stores nation wide for all my Real Book Readers who like the feel of the book and will not compromise with ebooks (this is another perk of the library, no wait, real books and no charge.)
