Review of: Three Two One by JA Huss

Hello everyone welcome back to I Geek Books!

To end this week with a bang I tough I'd do a review of a very good book that I just read recently.
This is also going to be a controversial one, so if you didn't like 50 Shades, then do not waste you time, this is not the book for you.

Three Two One is even more complicated than 50 shades; there really should be no comparison between the two since it is my believe that in  this case, 50 shades is Vanilla compared to this one. The characters in this book are even more screwed up  than Mr. Grey ever was. The all have deep issues that they are either dealing with, trying to avoid or just plain old hiding, yes that also works. But its not only their issues or psychological marks that they are hiding...

The only reason I am comparing it to 50 is because they also have singular tastes...

But I have to say, this is not what kept me reading page after page. Yes the book is hot, yes the scenes are specific and some times shocking. For me this book was a big Trifecta, pun intended.
There is mystery, crime, romance...
The book for me was about soul mates, how you can find yours in the last place you tough you would in the first place. Being in the right place, at the right time can change your life, and maybe, just maybe help you overcome your fears, get you to a better place, soul and mind.
Blue is in that place, she is lost, after what happened to her. She has had to deal with life in a whole other way than what she ever could have envisioned for herself, she could  never have imagined that she will be in her current place to begin with, but her life decisions have taken her to a whole new place, made her start all over and lead her to her soul mates... JD. And Ark.

This is for mature readers, and expect to blush time and time again. I love this author now too, and would love to read something else from her. This book to me was exceptional.

Here is the link to the book on Amazon:

Hope you enjoy and happy Friday the 13th...
Please don't forget to comment and like!
Have a great weekend, and a great book (And tell me all about it!)

Hexx Hall Series Review by Rachel Hawkins

Hello everyone, Today I am going to do a review on a Supernatural series. I feel like I have not done one of these in a while and I am wanting to give you a bit of a mix, so you can pick and choose depending on what you are in the mood for. This series is 3 Books and they are great. Here they are in order:

Note: Click on the name of the books and it will take you to the amazon web site to purchase each book.
By Rachel Hawkins
This series is a book after each other, so they stay on the same theme continuesly, but it's not all in the same place, and of course as the book progressed the story does too. One thing I love about it is the fact that the books are quite long, there 337-350 pages each, there is plenty to read, and really not very many "fill in" chapters. Those quite honestly I have no patience for,(that goes for fill in chapters that quite frankly feel like they do not belong there or 100 pages so called books...), I love that this author is very good at not boring your brains out with family history and flash backs. There is just enough in there to make you want more, but not enough of it that you will feel the need for coffee break...
I love that this authors way of writing completely transported me to Hex Hall, the narrative was explicit and at the same time intriguing. How did this place came to exist, why does it have the magic that it has and who put it there? How will this all come together into Sophie's life? Who will she choose... If you likes the Vampire Academy books and want to read something similar, then this is a great series for you. Sophie is a normal girl, until she is not. She can do things that other teens can't do and is causing quite the commotion because of it in the regular world. All of this leads her to Hex Hall, the reformatory school for kids who have no grasp what so ever on their powers... I hope that did not spoil the books to much for you...
Now I will tell you what I like about the books: This is one of those fantasies that I wish could be actually true. It's about family and how they take care of each other, even if they are not physically there. Making new friends, getting out of your comfort zone and standing up for yourself. Sophie makes a very good teenage heroine. She will not take crap from other students, will tell you her mind, and knows right from wrong. This how ever, won't prevent her from being set up... But how? Well, you will have to read to find out. All in all, you'll laugh, love the characters, feel like Jenna is also your best friend... This series is a page turner, I read it two years ago and I still remember it and would love to read more from this author as well, since at the time this was all I could find. How ever doing research to be able to bring you the most updated information today I have found that there is another book by Rachel Hawkins that looks very promising and will be reviewd soon here on he Blog as well. Stay Tuned for Fridays Sassy and Sexy book review. Don't forget to give me a thumbs up if you like it and found this helpful. Hope you have a great book making you company! Xox

Review of Cattoretti's Return Book 4 of the Lust, Money and Murder Series by Mike Wells

Since the first three books of this series were so good, I could not help but keep wanting to read more about this series and Elaine Brogan.

Book three ends with her finding her love and literally pushing away the bad thing in her life.
I have to say, I am not at all disappointed! I loved Cattoretti's Return; I enjoy very much when an author surprises me, and Mike Wells has done it again.
The book was not what I expected, as it is from his perspective. I started it thinking it will have more of Elaine, but it showed me a whole other world with a different person as the front and center, one that I for one hate and love at the same time.

Cattoretti is portrayed in this book in a whole new light; his brilliant master mind is front and center for all of us to enjoy, we get to see him screaming, surviving and hiding as well as his backward rationality when it comes to his relationships with women.
Yes I know, he is supposed to be the bad guy, and no doubt about it he is, but now you know more; not only the circumstances that drove him into that world, but also who he is now and what he wants. A character like this you have to admire as well. We do have a love/hate relationship, more hate than love of course, but I adore that this charater keep surprising me at every turn. Cattoretti does not do anything that does not serve a purpose and of course, himself.
He has and uncanny ability to always be a step ahead of his enemies and thinks about anything and everything that could possibly happen and how he can manipulate the situation to come up on top, as always, the Cat always lands on his feet...

But you have to read to know what I mean, like always in a Mike Wells novel. All will make sense in the end.
Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I did!

Lust, Money & Murder Book 4: Cattoretti's Return.

Have a great day and hope you have a great book!
